Thorin, son of Thrain, son of Thor, is the rightful king under the Mountain.

     He is the one that brought the contract to Bilbo to be a burglar. He is very in love with the treasure in the mountain. He becomes very selfish and all he wants is the Arkenstone.

      Thorin dies in the Battle of Five armies.
